Hani H. Warsame serves Admin and Finance at Independence House, she is an experienced specialist in water and environmental issues, with over eight years of practical knowledge in environmental and agricultural development. Her career encompasses both international and local organizations, emphasizing research, environmental impact assessments (EIA), management of water resources, and strategies for mitigating floods and droughts, as well as promoting sustainable agriculture. Hani possesses significant expertise in applying Environmental and Social Management Frameworks (ESMFs) and incorporating climate change adaptation strategies into her projects. She excels at collaborating with a wide range of stakeholders, including government entities and international donors, and is skilled in managing initiatives that fulfil both immediate and long-term environmental and agricultural objectives.

She published several articles related to environment while she worked with Goobjoog Media Group as Environment and Climate Change Desk Editor. She has extensive experience the correlation between the social economic development and environmental changes.

She served as Consultant with the Ministry of Energy and Water Resources, Federal Government of Somalia. She Led the technical assessment and design for the rehabilitation of water sources in

drought-prone areas, and she conduct feasibility studies and environmental impact assessments (EIA) for proposed water projects.

Hani vigorous educational background on environmental and natural resource. She has graduated from Nairobi University   in Water Resource Management, and Bachelor’s Degree in Agricultural Science.
