Mohamed-bishar Barre Jamac is currently the Communication Manager for the Somali National Society, managing media relations in Puntland and South-Central Somalia.

His professional background includes key roles in media organizations such as Radio/TV GoobJoog, Radio Mustaqbal, and BBC Media Action, where he worked as a producer and content manager.

He began his career as a Senior Advocacy Officer at Bander Public Relief and Development Organization and has experience training media professionals with Relief International.

Academically, he holds a Bachelor’s in Public Administration from Somali University, a Master’s in Leadership and Governance from Jomo Kenyatta University, and diplomas in Mass Media and Communication from Somali Media Club and Nairobi University.

Bishaar’s career focuses on strengthening communication strategies, media development, and public advocacy in Somalia.
